REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS (a) At the commencement of each season, each entry must be accompanied by a graded list of players and emergencies on the prescribed form for registration for that season. (b) Team entries as submitted will be graded into sections by the Grading Sub-Committee. All players listed in the teams as submitted by Clubs must play in the section as graded. No player so graded will be permitted to play in a lower section without prior permission from the Executive or its nominated Sub-Committee. (c) If a player is nominated for registration by more than one club, the player concerned shall have the right to say which nomination shall stand. The Executive Committee shall have the right to reject any nomination. (d) Emergencies cannot play below the grade assigned to them by the Association, which will be that nominated by the Club unless otherwise determined by the Executive Committee. (e) Applications for additional player registration will be permitted on the official mailform provided that full disclosure of the last grade and Association played is declared on the mailform. (f) Failure to provide appropriate information may deem that player to be unregistered and Bylaw 4(h) will apply. (g) The Executive reserves the right to reject any application for registration of an additional player where it is deemed that such player strengthens that particular team (except Section 1). (h) Any club that, without prior approval of the appropriate Record Secretary, plays an unregistered player or one who is ineligible to play in a team, shall forfeit to love all sets in which such player participated and shall be fined in accordance with the fines schedule as per Bylaw 19(e). (i) If a match is a forfeit or a total washout (no play commenced) emergency players will not be registered.
